A Bit of Background

Blessed to have served in ministry for more than 50 years, I am grateful. These areas include Christian education, curriculum development, church administration, leadership development, congregational care, spiritual coaching and counseling, prayer support, and special events. My preparation and training include most New Thought schools, the Science of Living Institute and Seminary, Rev. Ike’s Ministry, many interfaith, intercultural and ecumenical settings, as Administrator and Director of Internal Affairs at United Church, the United Palace and as Director of Ministry at United Palace of Spiritual Arts.

Statement of Ministry

An Encouraging Word Ministry is a unique ministry designed to support, uplift and encourage individuals in their spiritual growth and unfoldment through prayer support, spiritual counseling and coaching, wisdom study circle, inspirational talks, writings and sacred ceremonies.

The spiritual work and/or support given is to undergird and to hold sacred space for the spiritual demonstration the individual is striving to make with his/her goals, especially that of demonstrating more fully the expression of light and love they truly are.

Rev. Ike, who was my teacher and mentor for nearly forty years, dedicated his entire life and ministry to enabling individuals to wake up from the sleep of forgetfulness of who they are in God, and who God is in them, and become the awaken Christ man/woman. He proclaimed boldly: “You can be what you want to be, do what you want to do, and have what you want to have through the presence and power of God-in-you.” The profundity of his teaching and mentoring is sure to serve us in our continuing transformation.

The strength and reliability of any work depends upon the permanency and unchangeableness of its foundation. We build on the omnipresence of God, good, love, eternal and perfect.

Reinforcing our Commitment

The foundation for this study circle will be the life lessons as taught by Rev. Ike and his study guide, Health, Joy and Prosperity – For You! and inspirational readings and writings from wisdom teachers of the ages, whose words are ever-expanding into conscious unity of Spirit. “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
